Ubuntu Healing Center & Orchard

RJOY operates a 10 acre retreat center in the foothills above Jackson, Ca.  The Ubuntu Center features a full kitchen, accommodations for around 20 people, game room, an expansive view over the canyon above Mokelumne River, a vegetable garden, and a new 50 fruit tree orchard.

Ubuntu means “I am because we are” in Zulu Bantu language in Southern Africa.  Ubuntu is also translated as meaning “humanity”.  For more information about Ubuntu please email rjoy@rjoyoakland.org.
